((I haven’t really messed with this profile in awhile, I doubt anyone is even interested in Maria anymore. I’m still always open to rp, but I guess I’ll just have to wait until summer for intricate stuff since everyone is in school haha. I’ve been a little down lately and life has been pretty hectic in college, but I look forward to being able to interact with everyone again))

Hello Loki, I’ve been doing well I guess haha. It’s nice to hear from you, and I really mean that. How have you been? Not causing too much trouble I hope.

Where the hell is all my time going? I started working on this new project and now all of my time is just flying out the window. I’m still open for questions and request of course, but I might be a tad slow. Thank you all for your patience.

I’ve been severely depressed lately and also I moved and have started my classes in college. Probably won’t be on anymore until the weekends. I can’t stay on right now, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on why I’ve been and will be gone. 

((Take your time girl, I’ve kind of been in the same boat. Classes started, my depression has hit a new low from some events going on and I’ve generally been smashed with work. I’ll be back on the weekends and try to drop by as much as I can. Sorry to all of my followers.))

Not Just A Pretty Face

Giving a curt but warm nod to Maria, Steven turned his attention to the bouncing ball of energy that was shooting straight towards him since it was a tad bit obvious that something was going to occur. The little girl stopped in a flash, only a few feet away from him, and stared up at him with so much admiration. “Sure, little lady. ” He said, dropping down to his knees to talk to her at eye level.  She really was adorable and Clint’s insistence that he meet the girls made sense now. 

Speaking of girls, Steve glanced over at the other half of the plural word who was gaping at him awkwardly from a crouched position on the floor. Her eyes were locked onto him as she slowly made her way over to him. Steve wasn’t sure if she was starstruck or just timid, but he tried to ease the tension by giving her a small wave and a smile. However, the little girl chirped out their names at that very moment, effortlessly breaking the silence. “Nice to meet you. I’m Steve.” He was about to hold out his hand when Sabrina leaned in. “Oh? then I’ll have to….RUN!” He called out as he hopped up and jogged away from Alara, smiling as he went. 

“Aren’t they adorable, Maria?” Clint cooed, watching his teammate play with Alara and Sabrina. His arms snaked around Maria’s waist and grinned at the sight before him. 

Maria gave a smile back to Steve when he acknowledged her and then turned to watch the girls. It was funny how they were reacting, and she wondered if this is how she might have felt looking at superheroes if she had not been numbed to the fact over the years. 

When Steve ran off suddenly restarting the game, Maria simply laughed and made a sign for timeout before watching them shoot off after the man. Feeling Clint wrap his arm around her, Maria leaned in to him smiling. “Absolutely. I’m glad you found Steve, I was kind of hoping he’d simply be here when we got here, but this is even better.” Giving him a little peck on the cheek, Maria watched what was going on before her sighing at the fact she knew she would have to leave soon. She still had a flight to catch, and not exactly one she was looking forward to.

Haha, Hi Clint! Back from your mission I see. I’ve missed you so much. I, ah, actually have some things to tell you about the whole Chicago thing and my dad, but it can wait. How are you? 

Thor, somehow I didn’t see you being the type to ‘ship’, and yet it also somehow makes complete sense. I’m currently dating Clint however, so I’d say I’m against the shipping. I might have entertained the thought of dating him in the past, but I’m in a happy and committed relationship now and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
